Well Ive had good luck in the past with Pantac gear and when I got my M249 I knew I wanted a sling! I ordered myself one of Pantac's M249 slings and it finally showed up.

Upon trying to attach it the clips are too damn small to fit over the rear sling attachment on both my M249 and M240. I just about got it on and *SNAP!* there goes one of the clips... thankfully it wasnt my gun falling to the ground! The clips on this sling are cast potmetal crap and broke before I even got that damn thing on the gun!

Lesson learned. Dont spend $20 on a sling and hope it will hold up a $1000 gun. All I can say is im glad it broke before it even made it on the gun and not while I was sprinting full speed on the field.

Anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced solid quality sling for my pigs? (M249 & 240B)
