I've heard that the Zero Hammer is notoriously hard to install and doesn't function all that great after the fact... Perhaps this was on early revisions... I have not tried it for my self due to being told this.. but I have a feeling its similar... feel free to correct me if anyone knows more than I do...
ShooterDesign hammer spring is a great choice, imo... seems to be the choice of many as well...
The binding sounds like its the nub that sticks down from the BBU that goes across the hammer roller... I made that nub a little less aggressive and polished it a bit... seemed to help the catching issue but i think its impossible to get rid off completely.... Is it catching when you pull the slide all the way back and release?... or are you helping/holding it along during the slide return?
