i have an ICS M4 CQBR with a Magpul CTR stock!!! EXTREMELY tight fit - litterally takes 2 people to adjust length. that being said, i just but a split pack 1900mah 7.4v lipo in the hand guard. tight fit but looks sick!!
7.4v lipo's are fine in any gun. heck i even use them in my aep (same exact battery as in my m4) both my aep and m4 have about 40k-50k rounds on stock internals. "lipo" is just a chemestry. they do not posses magical gun destroying powers. they just have alot of current (amps) available. IMHO dont wast your money on any other battery then a Lipo. they are cheap, better performing in summer/winter, better semi auto trigger response (torque from Available Current - "in rush current") as well as give you a WAY better field time between charges.
If you were talking 11.1v LIpo.... then id say avoid until upgraded.
7.4v Lipo.. Best choice ive ever made... now in every gun i own
