If you're private, your best best is to local an armourer that caters to the theatrical & movie industry and see what they can do for you. There's an outside chance that some of the players in your area may rent you their guns, but that's between you and them to arrange.
If you're some kid wanting to film a "war movie" in his back yard, good luck with that. If you're actually serious, you have a lot more you need to deal with first. Be prepared to answer every question professionally and do some more research to make sure you can film what you intend where you want and what you need to do to follow through with it.

I'm in university right now studying Motion Picture Production (there is a firearm safety course i can take for film outside of school which I plan on taking). The ONLY thing that has to do with like rights/permits that I don't know about is guns. I'll ask my producing prof in a few classes. Thanks for help.
Edit: We actually don't learn about that till next semester. It's not urgent that I have these guns or whatever, but it's just something that I'd prefer to get done now, then when I'm actually shooting a film, cause it's one of those hassles I don't want to deal with. I'll just go through the BC Film Commission.
