dude. you should have just PM'd me.
the madbull with the gauge is the better. I know people who don't use the gauge but then they don't really know how much CO2 has been transferred. there are so many variables that put you in the dark when you don't use one. things that affect fills are temperature, how long you hold it on, how full your tank is etc...
for what you're using it for, get the one with a pressure gauge. you can make incremental psi changes to lock in your range!
pickup a 20oz paintball CO2 tank. remove the 12g cage on the charger. install charger onto tank until finger tight. then carefully crank it a little more. tighten no more than an 1/8th of a turn each time checking for pressure by tightening the knob on the charger and watching the gauge. newer versions have a set screw for you to lock it in place.
