I remember the days of 2600 baud. I didn't know what the hell that was back then. I wish I had the opportunity to dial into a BBS, connect to a terminal (ie. like a library intranet or w/e) and do all that old school terminal stuff but I'm a late Gen Y'er I barely had used DOS then it went to Windows (but I got pretty good at dos during that time).

Then 56k and then to DSL and something about dry copper pairs (how DSL works with the tone being sent down the line). Nowadays I know what all that means.

These days unless you're out in the sticks where there's no infrastructure available you're not going to have 56k at minimum you should have Cable or DSL.
