What do you mean, would this work? Would what work? Would playing with a clearsoft work? Airsoft is about realism. If you want realism, then obviously, no, it would not work.
Also, if you would like to buy an AEG, get AV'd first and take a good look at the classifieds. You will come across interesting finds.
And use the search function next time.
