If your charger is blinking red, and it's not supposed to do that, it may be your charger. It could just be a crappy one that's ruining your batteries. Of course, there IS the possibility that you just got two crappy batteries. Just make sure you always charge it at the lowest/slowest setting, and make sure you have a quality charger.
