If you want to counter snipe in airsoft, find the sniper first, and organise a squad manuver with an effective base of fire. That will either pin/kill the sniper, or force him to move and then, he's not effective anymore.

It's very true about that, you can't just do DMR alone. It just won't work. You need a team to help you out.
