Lil bit confused, but here goes:
Magazine spring SHOULD NOT be under tension when your store it. aka don't pull the spring all the way down in the loading position for gbb magazine that have them. Don't store with bbs in them.
Gas magazine should have some gas in them, Otherwise the O-Ring will start to crack and malform and cause leaks when you use them.
