I agree LiPo's are great when used properly and by someone who knows what the hell they are doing.
One fact I know nobody knows before they buy a LiPo is that LiPos supply way more amperage than NiMH batteries. So a 7.4v LiPo will provide and ROF just shy of a 9.6v NIMH of the same Mah, depending on what kind of cells you have of course.
Anyway be sure to get a protection board and put a fuse in your wiring for safety.
I haven't gamed mine yet but I'm already impressed with the performance on my LiPo. But I have it in an ANPEQ on the front of the gun, honestly I'd never put a LiPo in a sealed buffer tube, there's really no point in having a potential pipe bomb next to your face when you can fit a PCB, fuse, trigger master AND 1500mah LiPo all in an ANPEQ-15.
