Found the REAL problem. Took the thing apart this aft.

One of the wires connecting to the gear box is disconnected... sloppy soldering in Japan.

Hopefully that is all that...

Personally, I would just go for a second battery. Using the MP7 as a side arm, a second battery is hardly necessary anyways.
