lol. the mag slap technique. just as brutally effective as everything else about the ak
if im worried about mag retention i usually have the fresh mag in my hand gripped low towards the bottom, then when i remove the empty mag by gripping it near the top (in the same hand) i can easly move the fresh one in place with no impediment |

One thing I have learned from using an AK - The mag slap is 'slow'. I can use my index finger on my right hand (on the pistol grip) poke the mag release and pop off the mag with a quick jerk of the rifle.
Meanwhile my other hand is grabbing a mag and ready to go quicker then it takes me to grab a mag, slap the one in rifle and load it. Just my 2. cents. |
