KJW Beretta
Hello All,
I own a KJW Glock 23. Its a fun gun, but I find that the barel is a bit loose and as a result, accuracy is not great. I showed this to a few guys and it seems that this is how the gun is designed and not a defect of this particlular unit. I was looking at a KJW M9 but I am a bit wary of other KJWs. I was considering a TM 4.3 HC. What are your thoughts o mighty sages of the world of airsoft? Is the M9 any better? |
KJW's are clones of TMs.
Good clones, but clones none the less. Its like comparing a full metal echo 1 MP5 to a TM M4 I would say, go with the TM, TM makes some of the best GBBs on the market today, and their high-capa line up are some of the best. Don't let the ABS slide fool you, they are very, very solid, and can take propane well. |

What about the M9? is it any more/less accurate? Its a pretty big MoFo no? |
My 4.3 is very solid and heavy.
High-capas probably have more aftermarket parts available for them then any other pistol, so finding new or longer barrels if you want more acuracy shouldn't be an issue. Personally? i find it very acurate. That being said, i have only ever used 3 or 4 GBBs, all of them TM. I'm sure ILLusion, or one of the other pistol-masters will chime in soon, but trust me, TM high-capa = awesome pistol |
Are the Hicapa KP-05 mags interchangable with the TM 4.3s?
|
Yes, but, Use TM mags, they are 5 bucks more, and much better quality.
KJW mags are notorious for leaking, TM mags are troopers |
I remember reading somewhere (probably one of ILLusion's posts) talking about the moving barrel. I believe he was talking about the Airsoft Surgeon barrel that stays stationary...anyway, if memory serves, I remember the gist of it was that the BB doesn't spend enough time in the barrel to be affected by the movement of the barrel. I'll try to track that thread down.
About the KJ M9, I own one and I love it. The mags are leaky, however. I've fixed my mags with teflon tape and generous amounts of silicon oil. edit: here it is: click. Check out post #5 & 6 |
