Normally, any good surplus store carries paracord.

ILLusion April 27th, 2009 03:43

What colour and length are you looking for?

dutchxd April 27th, 2009 08:00

thanks man I will

para cord is getting tight. I have bundles of OD "right off the parachutes" The deal is its a chute strap that goes up to 8 [IIRC] lines that are about 25' and there's one more line with a toggle thats a little longer. So your looking at about 225 feet of OD Paracord a 2" strap and a heavy duty link that conects them for $16.95. Option 2 is white 550 cord on a spool 1000' 10 cents a foot. Hope it will do what you're looking for.
Cheers

could always take the white 550 and use some fabric dye to colour it OD.

Sorry to necro-post but I'm also looking for some 550 paracord in assorted colours. I'm also in southern Ontario (Toronto).

Not that I've seen. All I saw at CT was in the hunting section, was camo coloured nylon cord, not the same thing. Was looking for narrow webbing or thin 550 size cord to wrap knife handles, ended up just placing an order for paracord with SEALS Action Gear since the stuff was so hard to find. MEC didn't even have any!!

Unfortunately it's not a physical store, but it will have the colours you're looking for.

I checked CT before and found the same thing that Stalker described. Not what I was looking for.

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out and perhaps shop around online to see where I can get the cheapest price. Was hoping to save on shipping by finding a storefront =T
