The black Super 9 was a piece of junk.

The clear one won't be any better.

Yeah I'm not going to bring anymore of those in, they are all plastic and pot metal.

Not worth the money.

If you want a sniper rifle, you're going to have to poney up more than $250. No way around it.

The super 9 is not worth it... If you are 18+ get age verified and you can buy a decent sniper rifle thats not clear and is actually compatible with many parts... look into a JG Bar-10 which is a copy of the TM VSR-10 but costs less. Much better quality/upgradability than the super 9.

2 threads on pretty much the same topic??? Seriously???

There's a difference between accuracy in airsoft terms and accuracy in real steel terms, learn the differences. Essentially it boils down to a musket vs a rifle firing a newer cartridge that is actually aerodynamic and will hit a target at a fair distance away.

Yeah... Just to give you a little heads up, double posting on essentially the same topic, on these forums, generally doesn't go over too well. Don't get me wrong, this is the Newbie Tank, and is meant for newer players to learn and grow, but it also protects you from the flames.

On another topic, if you're going down the path of the L33t Snip3rz, take some words of wisdom; Don't. Like its been said thousands upon thousands of times, as a new player, unfamiliar with the rules of playing Airsoft, buying a sniper rifle as a starting aeg is a bigger recipe for fail than Bush's last term. Honestly, I'm too hung over to explain it all to you, but go and do some research, read up on why being a sniper right off the bat is a bad idea, and then come back and we'll help you pick a good aeg.

P.S: Get Av'd.

If you're new to airsoft, then a sniper rifle, regardless which one, is not for you for various reasons - mostly that no one will let a noob play as a sniper.

If you're under 18, then you shouldn't have airsoft guns at all.

The Swiss Arms Black Eagle M6 is a very compact and solid gun you just have to becarful not dry shoot to much because it will loosen screws on the inside that are very hard to get at to tighten. The Super 9 is not a good buy it sucks. There is a Swiss Arms 4X32 scope that should fit on the Black Eagle. If your looking to spend under 140$ for a sniper spring rifle the Swiss Arms Black Eagle M6S is a good buy.

DONT do as he says! trust me, after playing hardcore COD4 (last year when I was still a gamer) I thought I was a prosniper! so I bought a airsoft sniper rifle..... really fun, but WRONG choice!!
I later bought a AEG and noticed that the range and accuracy were the same!!
You'll also notice that on a airsoft rifle, it's not point and shoot like in any FPS, but they are many factors that will affect your shot, and wind does ALOT!

read the FAQ....

and please dont do that newbie mistake, airsoft is not like in videogames or in real life! (dont forget a bb weighs only about 0.20g!)
