inaccurate Swiss Arms M6s
My rifle has been very accurate until recently with very good groups at the normal hop-up setting at 10 meters. I have shot 2.500 (Perfect .20g) bbs using a Tasco scope. I recently cleaned the barrel with 3-in-1 professional silicone but this has not helped. My shots mostly are low and not grouped at all and have raised my sights up significantly to compensate (which should not be needed).
No user manual came with this model and I don't know what troubleshooting can be performed. Are there any suggestions for me? Thanks to all in advance! |

Be sure to clean all the oil off of the hop-up, might even need soap and warm water and a microfiber cloth. Also be sure to read up on the ASC forums on proper gun cleaning as there plenty of posts, that's how I know what mistake you made. -Jairo Dapyro |
It is 3-in-one professional Silicone Lubricant spray-so is probably ok? But my accuracy issues started before barrel cleaning

dont lube the hop up, and you should only clean the barrel with a dry cotton tissue no oil in here, bref the hop up/barrel should be always dry... and for the accuraccy maybe try something heavier than .20 like... .30's;)
also , i suggest you dissasemble the gun to check the hop up rubber it might be torn! |
Swiss Arms Black Eagle M6s
Thanks to both of you for suggestions. While I am confident that I cleaned properly this $100 gun does not appear to be user friendly for dismantling.I did remove numerous screws on stock but found resistance to proceeding further and abandoned the process. Since it does not come with a manual(and cannot find online), I will assume it is not to be tampered with at that price.I am also a senior shooting indoors and not skilled in troubleshooting.
A great looking and good feel rifle but as I said small tight groups have not been possible recently. Hopefully they will return. |

Sorry but is the "M6" the Sig 552? |

Woah it's like a VSR/APS2 bastard..
Your cylinder could be dry (although if it's a clone I doubt it)... Try pulling out the cylinder and putting 2-3 drops of heavy weight silicon oil near the piston head and cycling it back and forth a couple of times. |
Swiss Arms Black Eagle M6s Clear
Thank you also Amos, I assume due to the numerous views on my post that there will be no more replies/suggestions.I assume also that I should not expect long-term accuracy performance from a $100 rifle. As I said it was great for many shots on a sticky target providing good small groups but now inconsistent and it could not be the scope as I have bench rested when sighting in.I also believe it cannot be dismantled easily and no info available anywhere for doing so properly. It does not appear to be anywhere near the quality or cost of what many of you are using. I bought it only as a target rifle. So should I be satisfied that it can still hit a larger target at close range as opposed the 9 or 10 ring on traditional target and for those of you who have checked this modelout on the web- a' throw away piece'?
Thanks to all again! |
If you want a target gun you should look into some pellet rifles, even the cheap ones will be more accurate than an airsoft gun :)

This is the gun:
http://www.pyramidairsoft.com/Produc...95&referer=500 I have seen this gun and plinked around with it. I doubt that there is much to be fixed on it. You can try to swap out the barrel and get it clean and dry, and see what happens. But at 2500 rounds, it's probably lived a full life. Maybe a proper burrial with TAPS is in order? |
Thanks for checking it out, actually mine is the m6s -shorter version ( 38 inches)
but probably the same overall specs. |
Hey, I was wondering if you know of a site where I could purchase an extra mag for my Swiss Arms Black Eagle M6S rifle or if there is any higher capacity mags that exist for this gun. Thanks

shoot more bb's. Or a magazine that holds more like 40 bb's. The VSR-10 has a mag that looks similar to the Black Eagle M6S and holds 30 bb's. Do you think it fits? Any way my first question was if there exists a site where they have additional mags for the Black Eagle M6S and you failed to answer that question.
