Loking for some feedback.

There's a couple of places nearby that have some airsoft guns of VN vintage. I'm thinking about building myself a VN loadout.

Obviously, the weapon is going to dictate the kit. Just wondering if there's any serious issues known with the M16VN? If there are, I'll get an M733, slap a different flashhider on it, and call it an XM177.

Few things to consider. The Tokyo Marui version is good, but a bit older model. A lot of people use them however, and don't complain of many issues.

Classic Army also produces a metal version. The build of the exterior is more realistic, but the internals have been known to have issues. Nothing extreme of course, but something that may require a tech to look at.

It depends on how realistic a loadout you're looking for. Because technically the M733 would make an 'ok' substitute, but it may bother you in the long run by not being 100% authentic.

Thanks for the feedback, Staff. Exactly what I was looking for.

G&P guns are the best. Awesome internals, great body with Colt markings. Get a G&P if you can.
