Painting a CIRAS?

Hey,
So I got into thinking I wanted to switch from an Phantom / Pantac OD CIRAS Maritime to a CB one or something similar and I'm way too poor to just buy another. My question is has anyone ever painted a vest before? Would basic fabric paint work or do I need something more heavy duty / am I just wasting my time...

Yeah it can be painted.. but it will look painted .. and overall .. crappy

better off to sell the one you have and put the money towards a CB one

I agree, don't paint it unless you want it to look painted.

Sell your old, add a few bucks then buy a new one.

I suppose you could consider dying it. Although it is messy and results can sometimes be poor.

Please don't paint it. I have one. They're too nice.

Just sell it and buy CB.

Huang's CB is supposed to be pretty nice.

I have one of Huang's CB CIRAS'. It's a nice vest and a good deal.
