My first AEG!

Welp, Thanks for all the help from the ASC community. I have recently purchased a KWA M4 S-System from Mopic. Great guy and great help. Like the title says this is my first AEG, I had a couple springer pistols when I was younger in Taiwan and one here maybe 8 years ago. I was into cars and track racing for the past few years so never thought much about Airsoft again until recently. A group of friends and I have recently all purchased our guns and look forward to meet some of you ladies/gents on the fields.

Anyways without further a do... here's a few pics of my first AEG and GBB

Guns:
KWA M4 S-System
Troy style Flash hider
King Arms Vertical Grip
STAR ANPEQ II battery box w/ laser point (damn the light goes at least 100ft visibly)
G&P Aimpoint M2 Red dot
Dboys crane stock

KJW P226
25mm mount (needed to put foam to fit light)
Simple LED light (broke after second use cost me $25 too)

Anyways enjoy my crappy photography

Nice gun

paramedic June 9th, 2008 10:28

how much did you dish out all together?

Naglfar June 9th, 2008 10:35

That's awesome, I have heard substantially good things about the KWA M4s. Do you know if they are TM compatible? I might pick one up instead of a TM for my next AEG purchase.

Now that you have a 226, go and pick up a SERPA holster from Blackhawk, or huang if you're on a budget. These things are amazing, very comfortable, and you can draw and reholster with one hand extremely quickly.

nice gun

Well my original Budget was $1300.00 but I'm way over that now.

$575 for the KWA M4S
$210 for the KJW P226
$60 Box of 10 KA Mid-cap Mags
$55 2x KJW P226 Mags
$40 40" Soft Carrying Case
$55 Multi-pistol hard case
$70 G&P Aimpoint M2 (used off classifieds)
$50 STAR ANPEQ II
$20 Troy Style Flash hider
$25 KA Vert Grip (used off classifieds)
$55 2x 9.6 2000mah twin
$55 3x 8.4 1400mah mini (one is for my brother)
$36 NPT Smart Charger
$65 US Army Issue BDU + boots (used off classifieds)
$46 Fidragon black tactical vest
$40 Mil-Force Drop leg hostler (left handed, took me forever to find one but fits well with my P226)
$28 Mil-Force Dual pistol magazine holder
$40 JT Thermal Resistant Goggles (very low grade stuff)
$100 misc. gear

Total over cost in the past month has run me roughly $1625.00CDN not including things like gas for driving around town picking up parts and accessories.

As far as I can tell this thing is a clone of the TM so everything thus far has been TM Compatible. Mags fit well, very snug with no wobble. But I can't say for internals as I've yet to take it apart, and probably won't get around to it for some time. But I do hear it is compatible with most TM parts.

Oh and yea I wanted a SERPA or Blackhawk holster but couldn't find anyone selling a left handed version that would ship to me. I gave up and bought a Milspec drop leg that fits pretty nicely, a bit pricey in my opinion but I'm happy with it.

Look on Ebay. A seller by the name of "Ecop" sells left handed serpa gear.

I got a left handed serpa for my USP.

Very nice. I really like those Troy "meat tenderizer" flash hiders as well. I have one on my HK416 and I think it gives the gun a pretty badass look.

Cool, nice gun. How long did it take you get your AEG from Mopic and did he send tracing number within 72 hours like he saids in his sales thread? And did you have problems contacting him (email)?
thanks..

Jaaks June 9th, 2008 17:21

I live only an hour or so from Mopic so most of my contact with him was quite easy, I would say he's very reliable and works as quick as he can if he's not out of the country working. Along side my KWA M4S and KJW P226 I've also referred 4 friends to him for purchases and all purchases were completed in less than a week. My gun took a little longer as I believe he had either recently sold the last one to someone else and also his supplier had some issues.

I know this tho, everytime he updates his thread means he's got those guns in stock because if I contact him that same day or the day after I can meet him the next day to pick it up.

Oh and I've been using pm's as my primary source of contact and sometimes over the phone. if you guys have ordered from him I wouldn't worry cuz I trust he will get it to you. My friends and I have 6 successful transactions with him so very pleased, and he always makes a trip out of his way to meet us ^^ GL

Indeed. I ordered mine from ebaybanned, but more than likely it's the same as Huang's. It looks good and it's all I care about. The longer length compared to the stock M4 style flash hider is nice. And that meat tenderizer end gives it a really nasty look like it means business. You could seriously hurt someone hitting them with that thing.

Yea, they are definitely really good guns. Actually 3 other people on my newly forming team also have KWA M4s. On our team we have 2 KWA M4A1 and 2 KWA M4S, including mine. We've yet to chrony them tho, but I am expecting them to be close to 400. I hope not lol. They're all using 8.4v 1400mah tenergy batteries, and I'm using a 9.6v 2000mah twin in my PEQ. Do you know what your friends are using?
We actually bought some Springs to replace them and hopefully lower the fps if they are too powerful.

Thanks ^_^, yea they are full metal, well at least the S-systems are for sure, the M4s are a lot lighter and the hand guard feels a lot like some type of plastic but it could be aluminum. Great build and feel.
