VFC Hopup Assembly a Joke

I know that for my SCAR i need to buy a hopup assembly from them since it is custom made. However I do not trust the hopup at all due to that it is CLEAR PLASTIC.

Is there at all anyone who can fabricate a METAL HOPUP ASSEMBLY?

Or is there another way or am I stuck with the CLEAR?

Your goggle lenses are clear plastic, do you trust them?

Log into Arnies Airsoft, there are a ton of VFC SCARs there. The hopup is a non issue.

But seriously since it's clear and it has that nice huge ejection port it is easy to do a visual check on how the hopup is set.

I thought my VFC hop up sucked until I upgraded my spring. 350fps dead with .25's and it shoots 200ft flat bucking rather than over bucking.

Once I upgrade the spring all I have to do then is to deal with trigger assembly and its problem

Danke June 14th, 2008 11:36

What's the trigger issue?

Oh you're going to have fun with that one. It to me several trips to my Airsmith to get that one worked out. I can refer you to him on another site if you need advice.

Funny thing is once I got it perfect I swapped in a Systema.

It's pretty simple, just swap the cut-off lever. It's a part that costs less than $15.

Did that with a CA cut-off lever but we still had to gradually take it down a mm at a time.
