Real MP5 question

Hi,

Quick question:

On a real MP5, is the following part in plastic or in metal?

Finally, someone asked the question that I've never been able to get an answer to.

I think it has to do with the 3 point sling

3 point slings only need 2 attachment points. Believe me, I have one.

Crunchmeister May 6th, 2008 18:56

Yup. I have 3-point slings for most of my guns. They only require 2 attachment points.

alternate place to mount the sling?

Not sure if it is to secure the sling in carry, but it sure does have something to do with the 3 point sling.

Yes it is another place to mount the sling. Although I wouldn't trust that piece as far as I can throw it.. Doesn't seem strong enough..

CDN_Stalker May 6th, 2008 19:53

It does have to do with the sling, but really am unsure of what part of what sling clips to there, has always baffled me too, but it's not an alternative sling attachment point, it's a secondary temp holder. When it's to be used, I haven't a fucking clue.

R3/3 sling, of so I've read.
