good starter gun
 

I am new to airsoft and was just wondering what a good starter gun is. I want something realistic/metal and to have blow back. I was in the army for 2 years and really like the c7 and c8 (canadian versions of m16/m4) or the
mp5. Im looking at spending about $300 to $400 does anyone have any sugestions. Also where do you get the guns from. Can you order them from the states and bring them across the border or do you order them from a canadian site. thanks a lot

Airsoft and blow back = GBB (pistols powered by gas). They are *some* rifles that have it, very expensive.

just to make this easier on me and not make me look through old threads can you just tell me where to get a good m4 or mp5 for under 500. that is metal and has some good features. also whats better gas or electric. my guess is gas. gimme a quick brief on some stuff i should look for and look out for

Gas is good but doesn't work great when its cold.
Electric is good and the mechbox/gearbox have 'character'.

A good idea would be to pm LeGros and ask him what he has available. He deals in 'chinaclones'. They are cheaper but do require a bit of work to make them work properly.

I would highly recommend getting age verified and buying from the classifieds here.

you could get a jing gong from shootsoft.ca dont expect it to be full metal and the greatest gun

anything really good is gonna be 500 or more the best quality stuff in canada would be at 007airsoft.com

but if you can play with lower quality shootsoft has stuff like jing gong

how do i get them into canada. will they ship them here. is it legal? or if i get it shipped to the border and pick it up is it legal. also how do i get age verified i read the thing about it but like i have to go somewhere to do it or something
