thanks for all the support guys but this has just become away to stressful on me and my family. I have better things to do in a day then fight with the government over toys.

Considering over the past 6 months he's been jacking up prices $100 or more, no surprise. Now we'll wait and see if Ken jacks prices.

I have no doubt he's been milking it for all it's worth. But in his defence, I would too.

Doesn't Mark no longer having guns = Ken no longer having guns? I was pretty sure Ken's supplier was Mark.

Ken does his orders through Mark so I think he may be gone also

i hope ken doesn't find it as stressful as mark does, if we loose him, we are all pretty fucked over.

EDIT: curse my slow typing. shit, i didn't know that ken orders through mark.

Guess that means we'll be paying even more for used guns now. If Mark is out of the business, then Ken is too, since he got his stuff through Mark. The lack of sources for new guns will jsut end up driving up the prices of used stuff.

Mark has been a complete joy to deal with over the last 2 years, I will miss him greatly, I wish him and his family all the best on his future endeavors.

As for his reasons, I respect them, plain and simple.

You really think so? I know the whole supply and demand thing. But will people really jack up prices because of no new guns? Do new guns really affect the classifieds on ASC?

Well, I don't think we'll see that happening right away, but it will happen eventually. As it stands, without A&A and 007, shootsoft will be the only 'store' on Canada to supply guns, and at least for the time being, they focus on lower end stuff like JG and other Chinese clones. The only place to get new guns will be in the ASC classifieds. Not saying that the guys selling new guns will jack prices to gouge us (chaseyue and Hellfire989 have reasonable prices right now), but you can bet that for higher end stuff, prices WILL go up as the supply of new high end stuff dries up.

If that happens, prices will just keep going up and up and up until the price of a TM becomes the price of a Systema now. That's crazy. Good thing I have the guns I want, and have the knowledge to build guns. Hmmm...I might be in high demand!
