found a vest i like. i cant however, find any canadian stores that carry it. its the blackwater I-O Plate Carrier Vest with Cummerbund. need it in multicam.

i have heard that at the moment you cannot import armor. true? anyone know of a retailer carrying these?

AFAIK you can import most armor, it's the export of armor from he US that's troublesome. And are you looking for actual armor, or just the carrier? Cuz the carrier itself isn't a problem to export.

Just an FYI, BW gear is just rebranded Uncle Mike's. It is usually overpriced.

Also just FYI, according to OpTac the BW IO PC W/CB is uber delayed/backordered something to the effect of 8-12 months.

...and isn't the Blackwater gear all stitched by Uncle Mikes? ie. substandard?

wow really? nice looking rig i thought, more there than with the eagle i was looking at. just need the carrier. thaks drake thats egsactly what im lookinf fore, but that one doesnt have the side panels.

ya, i seen the hss rig seals is selling, although very nice, not what im looking for, i would prefer the eagle one over hss, but i liked the cut and layout of the bw rig over the eagle.

I don't recommend anything by Blackwater. It's overpriced and the quality is garbage. My BW pistol lanyard started falling apart after only 1 game!

I bought an eagle pate carrier in MC from seals in Calgary today. They only have them in med, thought.

you can bring in the vest from the USA i brought in a Eagle Ciras and it was opened and checked by Customs and send to to me with no delay its the armour plates you cant bring in i believe

wow, thats too bad. nice looking vest. thanks for your input, eagle it is. ill have to call seals and ask what the hell was all abut telling me they didnt sell eagle... must be because they wanna off load those hss.

blackwater seems to have some pretty nice looking stuff...but I definitely like the quality that eagle produces. also, from what I hear, blackwater has availability issues that often make delivery times skyrocket.
