Different cylinder sets

Is there any performance difference b/w the Guarder Bore up kit and the Enhancement kit ?

the Enhancement kit I believe is the non-Boreup kit

the bore up helps if you have a longer barrel than stock in your gun. The bore up pushes more air out to avoid bb suck back on longer than stock barrels.

Yeah that's why I figured. This is gonna go in my PSG1 with the 650mm barrel so I guess i'm better with the Bore up kit then right ?

skruface wrote something about boreups a while back but some others did not agree, hold on let me find it. I don't know if it is still valid, but when I had a choice of cylinder sets I chose a reg set because I was sticking to stock barrel. I think the moral is you *might* have to upgrade the spring too.

edit:

skruface: http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=2697 <--great reading btw
*NOTE* There is a cylinder type called a Bore Up Cylinder. This has a larger inner diameter, meaning it can hold more air volume in the same length of stroke. However, it requires a VERY strong spring to work effectively - the Systema M130, which is far too powerful for use in our games. DON'T get the Bore-Up Cylinder, it's a waste of money for 95% of you.

I Appreciate it. The barrel isn't gonna be stock and i've already had it upgraded with a 160% spring and it's shooting 402fps. According to redwolf this spring is rated b/w 450 and 550fps which means it should be able to handle that bore up kit no problem.

btw watch out for

Defective product alerts: Guarder polycarb piston head
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=30528

"POLYCARB PISTON HEADS

http://www.intrudershop.com.tw/mmc/i...E-04-03_01.jpg

Nice looking ventilated piston head with a machined brass insert for the screw to tap into. However polycarbonate has not shown itself to be sufficiently fatigue resistant for the repetitive hammering in a mechbox.

Colin_S has broken two piston heads in his M14 and P90. I have found that the piston material is not very impact resistant in tests at the shop."

but the thing is many maufactuers make polycarb piston heads sucessfully so I ended up with a polycarb head anyhow. If it breaks, it breaks.

Yeah I read about those earlier. I really like the Guarder products but they don't have a PSG1 bore up kit unfortunately so I'm going with the Systema kit instead.
