Before i'm ask, YES its made by Classic Army.

Do they both use the same mags?

Just like the SR-15 and SR-25 - NO.

One holds 5.56mm, whereas the other carries 7.62mm.

Both the receivers and magazines are physically different.

I'm pretty sure they use different mags. My SR-25 mags look like M-16 mags but are slightly bigger to accommodate the bigger rounds.

The only difference between then is the colour and the trades. It's also reported that CA will be releasing a body kit to change the SCAR-L into the SCAR-H. At least so the other forums report.

No... Maybe about the body kit but my CA dealer friend didn't tell me anything about it.

Bigger round = bigger mag = bigger receiver = bigger barrel.

No Problem. Where did you see a body kit is coming out? Sounds interesting and would make me buy a SCAR L + H body kit :D

This isn't RS. So, no. Too bad 30 people beat me to it.

The RS can swap magwells, and barrels to accomodate a different Cartridge.. (someone correct me if I'm wrong. My info is kinda old)

uhh... You're forgetting about the internals. You can't run a 7.62 round when you have internals adjusted to 5.56.

There was also a video of some R/D guy talking about it... (2 and a half years ago)

Ment airsoft (related to the body kit 'rumor' to convert a SCAR L into a H). RS would be very different tho. But all BB's are created equally (at least for size.. quality blehhhhh).

Oh my god. A black SCAR-H! This means I won't need to buy the VFC one and paint it black!

I really hope it comes out this winter AND it available in Canada this winter. If so, I promise I'll be nice!
