AGM MP40 Bakelite version vs All Black version
Other than price and color of the furniture, anyone know what the difference is between the two?
|
I think you answered your own question. The only difference is the color.
I have the bakelite version and I know others who have the all-black version. I can't think of anything significant (functionally) to distinguish the two. |
well
I guess at A&A $50 gets you the gun in black :) Hence the question. You running an AGM or other brand? If AGM what do you think of it as I am thinking this is going to be my next gun...

Full. Metal. MP40. Need I say more?
Sure as hell beats the much more expensive and rare TOP MP40 with its bellow type gearbox crap. The AGM uses a modified version of the good ol' V3 gearbox. I just sold mine. |
Aw, man, here I thought this thread was about my favorite rugby team.

I have the AGM MP 40 Bakelite version, well 3 of em actually.... But the only real differance in the 2 version of black vs. Bakelite is that the black one has a much worse finish to it (very noticable bubbles smears and drips in paint job) also it seems to have a lot more interal troubble. if you get a AGM MP 40 get the bakelite version and save yurself some grief.

and its the cheaper of the two at A&A - go figure :P
Thanks for the answers guys! |
