Swiss Guard .. at the Vatican .. the Swiss have provided a contingent of security for the Vatican under contract since the 16th century. The wear the original uniform of the unit originaly contracted.

All the members of this unit are trained to elite status .. this cerimonial duty is a fraction of the work done by this unit at the vatican.

As you can imagine there are a lot of potential threats to the Pope and the Vatican in general.. These guys look after all of that..
