Custom C8 carbine *56k go die now

Okay, a few of the guys that know me, know that I have been working on getting my C8 done up.

I am now happy to report:
Mission Accomplished

Parts:
Guarder new gen C8 metal body, one piece hopup.
Systema complete mechbox with M110 spring.
SRC Crane stock
SRC barrel and RIS.
SRC carry handle.

The only thing I'm missing now, is a tightbore barrel, but that can wait, cosmetically, it's done, and it shoots, good enough for me.

Nic

Not too shabby. Not a huge fan of the foreward grip, but the gun looks hot otherwise.

Kinda bugs me that they went into all the detail of making a kick ass metal body the way they did, but having it say "Safe, Semi, Auto", instead of "S R A"...

How's the SRC goods? The stock and RIS

ToRN June 4th, 2006 06:31

They work well, I still need to mod the rear end (involves lots of metal removal) to wire it thru the stock for the battery, I currently have the wires sticking thru below the stock (covered by electrical tape currently) it works for now, I just need to find a more permanent solution.

I quite like the RIS, it's got a good wheight to it, and looks good too. barrel is also SRC, and looks very good, even compared to the TM barrels.... 0_0

i assume the body was a src which can come in metal....which is why he asked the question.

Dude, re-export your images. I don't mind the resolution, but they're like up to a meg and a half each, are you trying to kill Miles' server?

ToRN June 27th, 2006 21:15

original body was SRC, plastic piece of junk, and the SRC metal *cough cough* recievers suck pretty hard too, they aren't actually metal, they are plastic with a thin layer of monkey metal coating it.

h, I thought I had resized the images, but I guess my attempt had failed. I'll give it another shot.
