Canadian Forces Black Combat Jacket? (Identify, Mark 2 Combats/Uniform)
Hi there, I found a potentially rare Black CF Combat Jacket. I was wondering if someone could give me some background info of this "Mark 2 Combat Jacket?"

That looks as wrong as a football bat.
|
I'd heard only rumours of the existence of this.
|
If you didnt buy it, I would go back and buy it, just to say you have it. Seems like that is a rare find.
|
Naval version?
|
Looks like a label from parklands aka milspec there is a guy on ebay who has them as well
|
That label is wrong. I have the jacket this is a copy of, it's not rare, it's just the Navy's Goretex coat......

Here is an interesting link: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Canadian-Digi...AAAOSwr81UP5fT The Ebay Cadpat Combat Jacket features the same tags as the Black MK2 Combat Jacket. The seller claims that the Ebay Cadpat Combat Jacket is aftermarket. Could this mean that its made by a different company such as Frontenac, Parklands Canada or Milspex? Other than that what company makes these jackets? They have some qualities to them. |
Real or not, that's pretty neato. Is the material anything like the old Canadian combats or is it a shiny nylon blend?
That's a dead giveaway right there. |

A copy would, in fact, indicate it's not actually the Goretex Naval jacket, but a Copy, of uncommented on quality. The sizing and tag alone gives that away, as next to nothing, if not nothing, we issue is sized in "Small/Medium/Large". |
The NSN is also wrong IIRC we are 20 and 21, 24 is Iceland.
