AEG: Brand NEW ICS M4

Hi there,

Got the ICS M4 a few weeks ago, and decided to game this weekend.

Everything was fine out of the box.

I swapped the spring with a ST105 by element.

I installed everything back and now the rifle doesn't seem to have power.

Any ideas? Missed steps?

I opened the rifle and the bottom gear box won't spin even with battery in.

Thanks in advance.

Managed to find the disconnection.

Now to assembly, after installation of motor and tested with battery, it just 'clicks'. no spin.

When motor is out, it spins freely.

Did you switch the motor leads? If reversed its going to stall against anti reversal latch

I am sure RED to POS and Black to NEG. Took out to check again.

the sector gear is not parked correctly vs the piston.... did you remember to release the spring tension by using the forward assist before you split the upper and lower? hit the forward assist now, split the upper and lower and ensure all the sector teeth are facing down and not up and remarry the receivers and try again.

I'm sure ics has better qc than generic acm stuff, but I have run across motors that are mis indicated for polarity.

I put a dx.com short neo magnet motor in my ares lmg and it was backwards polarity :-/

Problem solved, reversed polarity causing lock up.

The front connection wires were connected backwards, silly me.

Just found out my Hop up broke into two. Not my week with this brand new rifle.
