Looking for affordable Smersh

Hello all, I'm in need of some help.

I have been putting together a modern(ish) Russian load-out for next season, and I've run into a bit of trouble when it comes to finding a Smersh vest that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I've already spent a fair deal of dough on this load-out and would prefer an economic option to finding a Smersh, because $200 for a Smersh rig is a bit much for me.

Ideally I'd like something $100 or less, and it doesn't have to be a real military issue, or dead on, just close enough. If anyone can lead me in the right direction that'd be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'll gladly post pictures if anyone needs them to get an idea of what I'm looking for.

Eeeeekk. I wish you good luck finding a complete smersh rig for sub-$200 dollars. Have you tried looking at the VSO replica smershes?

Smershes occasionally pop-up on RA, the Rushing Russians fb group and the Russian Gear Classifieds fb group... but I've never seen a real one go less than 170 at most. The older the generation, the more expensive it gets.

Have you considered getting a different model of Russian vest? Or are you absolutely dead-set on smersh?

I'm not dead set on a Smersh, it's more of a best case scenario if I find one. I'm definitely considering other options as well, pretty much anything that'll look good with the Gorka-S I have.

My other suggestion would be an M23 Pioneer chest rig if you've seen those. Great rig, takes all kinds of mags, lots of pockets, fully adjustable and I've seen them pop up around here for under $100 recently.

I've looked at the M23, and it definitely is the runner up if I can't find a Smersh, which is looking like a negative. I'll definitely look more into the M23, thanks!

Update: I found a solution to getting a Smersh, thanks to Evike's huge selection I managed to find a bunch of individual pouches and belts to make a rig that looks very similar to a Smersh, and for roughly 100 dollars.

Hey, whatever works until you can afford the real deal. Everyone's gotta start somewhere.
