G&G VERSION 3

Well i was just on airsoft gi checking out some gears, and went to check out the g&g section, and they have updated their rifles from the version 2 to a new version 3. "Description: "UPDATE" This is the newest version, VERSION 3. BRAND NEW PACKAGING, NEWLY INTERNAL STRUCTURE." so could this be the great update  and how long before rangers and other canadian retailers get VER.3?

Thanks!

v3 what?

armalites? M14, UMP??

LaZeDoUt^Jr. September 28th, 2005 19:45

Im guessing armalites. I dont think they would make a new version of the m14 or the ump (umg) so soon.

Blastyman September 28th, 2005 19:50

I am guessing so too.

Would be helpful to include proper information next time. :-)

Nocturnal September 28th, 2005 19:52

i looked it up .. it just means that G&G has released a third batch of the armalite series. i assume that they have made improvments from their inital releases.

Go G&G... lead the way~!

GUYS , calm down, i'm in search of an answer, i emailed G&G and will be getting a reply withing 48 hours, will keep you posted!

Polo609 September 29th, 2005 09:27

Well i received the email and this is what they say: "We thank you very much for your inquiry. Our latest M16 series. We make a new gear box. Now the new gear box is totally fit with the MARUI." So im guessing that the new gearbox is just as reliable as a TM, thats pretty good up to what I know lol.

Edit/ I was on their website and they had something on the UMG. "Due to the recently discovered smaller 'bug' in the tappet plate of the UMG released last month August 2005, we have decided to help our customers further."

hmm the UMG part is going off topic...

anyway here is their 'support policy' in the news. :salute:

Dear Customer
Hi, thank you for your enquiry. Here are the difference:

1. Brand new box design, not the cardboard box
2. serial numbers start from 2000
3. Recasted gearbox and other minor improvement.

Thank you

This is the response i got from ASGI. sounds like a good improvment. you might want to wait till retailers confirm that they have the 3rd version of the G&G rifle you want. for the money you pay it'll be worth the wait

fly_boy October 3rd, 2005 18:34

Does this mean that the G&G mech boxes now come greased?

mcguyver October 3rd, 2005 18:56

on the umg it was lithium. made quite a mess and did nothing as far as lubrication was concerned.
