AAC Honey Badger Modification
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all (First post but its a good one!!!)
I recently played Call of Duty Ghosts, Ok game I guess, but I was really interested in the AAC Honey Badger, I thought it looked very unique and I have been trying to figure out a way to build on through an AEG platform, although it would work well as a GBB too. My thoughts is to utilize an AR-15 remove the CAR-Stock and the tube it sits on and install a system similar to the sliding stock on an MP7 (attaching this is ONE major feat I think). Downside of course is where can I place the battery (if its an AEG), all I have been able to come up with so far is to have it wired to the front and either have the battery inside the forward shroud OR wire it through a PEQ box. Any thoughts on the matter...I welcome any ideas. Also just in case you don't know WTH an AAC Honey Badger looks like |
Lots of people have wanted to build the gun, what you find on google is as close as you can get.
Unfortunately nobody makes that front handguard, upper or lower receiver yet, but there's a very similar retractable stock. |
For the front hand guard you could take a Troy rail system and Dremel the holes together to get those kinda slits. But they'd be much wider.

The VTac rail has a lot closer look to the Honey Badger rail.

yeah but the more people i can persuade to not have an ugly ass vtac rail on their gun, the better. Seriously I'm positive a cute animal gets brutally murdered every time someone buys one.

There isn't a rail that has "wings" that cover the front of the upper
You are pretty much SOL on the upper unless your CNC one. There is a similar stock on this gun, but I can't find anywhere that sells the sock by itself. but these come pretty close. BTW, these are all RS ar15s that I found when I was considering the same project. http://i.imgur.com/Uz3ZpNP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/AN8Ai4M.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TcWtmDg.jpg |
