Airsoft gun transport to USA?
Does anyone know the process of transporting airsoft guns to murica? Or if it is even an option? It's technically not import/export, just transport lol. The reason I'm wondering is I'd like to attend an operation lion claws even next season. Thanks.

Keep in mind that this does not make you completely immune to seizure of your stuff. There is definitely still a risk involved when you bring it back into Canada.

I remember there was a thread about this, the consensus near the end of that discussion was that it was probably easier to buy a gun in the States then to go transporting back and forth.

There are many player that travel to the states WITH there airsoft weapons and as long as the proper paperwork and such are completed there is no issue.
And just in my area we are talking about around 30-40 who do its several times a year... Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |
I did this once just to try it, I live near the border. I was driving home for the spring(seeding time) I packed my gear up and put my guns in their proper cases. I had a real sword svd, and type 56. Also a g&g m4. I did not try to bring a shotgun or pistol. I talked to the cbsa, got my y38(green slip it was nicknamed cause its green) and they looked at them, made sure they weren't real. I left, drove home from Alberta to sask (threw montana)and upon entry I told them my car was full of suitcases full of my clothes and that I had my guns, gave him the form and had no trouble coming back.

Transporting to and from United States and Canada
When transporting your Airsoft guns to the US, do they have to have an orange tip? Going to Michigan soon.

Contact the game host to see if it is field requirement. I have not had an issue with transport of them without the orange tip just if it is needed by the field.
