Tapatalk API is expired?

Seeing this message using Tapatalk for iOS:

"Tapatalk API is expired. If you're the admin of this community please update Tapatalk API to the latest version. Thank you."

Tapatalk for iOS still seems to work on ASC though.

The Tapatalk HD app for Android stopped working with ASC entirely recently (still works with other forums). I wonder if it is related?

not working either for me.

looking for a alternative more reliable software

Still works fine for me on my Note 2. I have the paid version though.

ASC just hasn't updated the plugin yet. just click "ok" and it works fine.

haven't had issues running it on iOS. Other forums that I got that message for have since updated and it's no longer popping up.

Yeah, I have no problem clicking past it on iOS.

But Tapatalk HD on Android is dead in the water for ASC (works for other forums).

Now I don't know that the Tapatalk HD problem is related to the expired plugin, but it's a likely candidate.

I am also using the paid version on a Tab 2 10.1 and it now just spins forever trying to load the forum posts. What version are you running on your Note 2?

Tapatalk for iOS doesn't work anymore either.

Was the plugin ever updated, or is Tapatalk support on ASC defunct?

coach October 20th, 2013 17:18

Works fine for me on iOS 7 with v2.0.4

Wildlife October 20th, 2013 18:16

I've been running the paid version of Tapatalk (v 2.4.13) on Android (v 2.3.4) no problem.

I did a remove and reinstall of the paid-for-now-free version (2.0.4) on iOS6 and it works again, albeit with the expired API warning message.

Removing and reinstalling the paid version of Tapatalk on Android does not help anything there.

Are there any plans to update the Tapatalk plugin?

Tapatalk API is expired?

I'm not getting the expired API you are on any of my Apple devices.

5 and 4s running iOS 7.0.2 - v2.0.4
3GS (jail broken) iOS 6.1.3 - v1.17.1
iPad 1 iOS 5.1.1 - v1.17.1

Edit: okay tried again and I'm now getting the API warning on the iPad and 3GS. The iPad won't upgrade to 2.0.4 and I'm not upgrading the 3GS to the newest version because I still like the older format.
It appears that the plugin does not support the older iOS.

Sucks. Pinch zoom, pinch shrink, pinch zoom, pinch shrink much? Or rather too much!

Tapatalk is streamline, keeps down bandwidth so everything loads quick and actually drops the google ads. :)

Mine likes to occasionally stop working on iOS, I have to sign out completely and sign back in. Would be nice if they fixed the api issue though.
