tm glock frame pin?

so i recently had my gun doc look at my glock and after about a good 170$ my glock was fixed and was good as new, but one thing was apparently missing, a pin that is located at the rear of the frame. anyone know what it is? and if so does anyone know where to find a replacement?

The one on the grip? It holds a "beaver tail" style grip on that comes with the G17c.

Other than that I don't think it does anything.

It holds the entire rear hammer assembly in place...

illusion got it , i think its the pin that holds the entire rear assembly, is there any replacements? or anyway to fix it?

Not that I'm aware of, unfortunately. I can get parts directly from Tokyo Marui from time to time, but the orders are few and far between, and take months from orders submission to actually receiving the parts.

I'd say to special order such parts from me if you are okay with sitting on it and waiting for up to a year for the part to come in...

Wouldn't a roll pin from some hardware store work for that?

So your gundoc lost the part? And he charged you $170 for fixing it?

A toothpick rolled in layers of paper and packing tape is suprisingly strong enough even for the hammer itself, lol.

That's what I did for reviving an otherwise completely fucked G18C, and it has worked fine.

Paper Dragunov SVD First Shot!! - YouTube

This guy is crazy, if his paper guns can withstand firing live ammo(although home made) I'm sure it would work as a pin...most of his guns use paper pins.

If you can't find a roll pin or a spring pin from a hardware store, you could probably get away with a skewer or toothpick cut to size.

or you could order one of these:
http://www.smartlock.com/thumbrestComp2-r.htm

It comes with a new extended pin for the thumb rest... and it's made in Canada!
I have the competition 2M, and I love it.

Any Ø 3.0mm steel stock works. Cut it to 21mm and deburr, you will have your self a nice pin.

The shank of 3 inch deck screws work as well.

If it's made in Japan, it is most likely it's going to be metric. Don't use a roll pin you find at Homeless Depot or Crapnadian Tire as they will most likely be imperial. You wont be getting those things out of your frame ...or in.

You could just go to the dollar store and buy those screwdriver set things....
One of them is the perfect size to fit in there. You just have to cut it to size and re-finish the pin so that it's easier to manuever into place....

no the 170$ is from other repairs, it seems the glock came in with a missing pin
