What is general opinion of Echo 1, (Echo1 MTC2)
I am new to airsoft and am thinking about getting an echo1 mtc2 as my first gun.
My thinking Inexpensive. uses M4 mags Tons of rail space Says it is very modular and upgradeable. What do you guys think of the MTC2 and echo1 in general? |
Echo1 guns arent too bad for the price,
from what i gather the MTC2 is baisicly a g36 with a m4 magwell conversion and crane stock, you definately be unique, if you like the look of it and the reviews dont say it sucks then go nutz |
Kinda.
It has a unique look that I personally don't like, but if you like it, then he uniqueness is an advantage. http://www.popularairsoft.com/files/..._series_02.jpg G36 body with lower top rail, RIS kit, combined to what you said. The best would be to read reviews about the rifle. Internet is full of them. |
ECHO1 G36s are great little machines for the price.
M4 magwell conversions universally suck. What ever the brand. However, once you find a brand of mags that feed properly, it's a lot more usefull than bulky G36 mags. Using a crane stock battery really takes away the small battery space issue of the G36 line. MTC1 is based off a G36C, MTC2 is based off a G36K. That might be my next backup AEG. |
MTC1 and MTC2 give you a new fresh look of a G36. The crane stock is much more comfortable over the traditional G36 versions.
Stay away from the MTC3. The grip prevent you from easy access to the selector switch and also not comfortable at all. It was better suited for a sniper rifle. |
E1 g36 buils ie the MTC line are based off of JG g36s... who are their OEMs for those guns.
Depending on what you want, a JGg36 and the magwell converter can probably end up cheaper than any of the MTCs. JG gen4 g36 is a really solid gun, probably just a hair under the CA g36 in terms of material build. |
In regards of the JG G36(c), I don't know the GEN but a certain retailer have it for 150$!! Crazy. Damn and I paid mine more when it was at 50% rebate, lol.

Cheaper plastic than TM used.
First generation G36 owners found this out when their hop-up units broke. Good luck finding one. |
the newest ones are fiberglass reinforced nylon, to the same standard of CA and ares bodies. So quite better than TM abs.
|
I think they're ugly as hell, but nothing wrong with it.
|
Lower end of middle grade.
|
i think it looks pretty cool. if you like it i say go for it
