AK47 iron sight removal?
 

I can't seem to find a video, or a thread regarding the removal of an AK's iron sight. It seems to be a simple 'push down and slide out' method, but it won't budge a bit. I am trying to mount an adjustable top mount rail that seems to fit onto the iron sights slot.
