Will MP44 mags fit in a chicom AK chest rig?

It is gonna influence weather I get an MP44 or not so I really need to know.

Yes and no. The MP44 magazine is thinner than the AK but taller as well. It will stick out of a Chicom vest about 2 1/2 inch.
