OK, I'm slowly turning my M16A2 into a C7 with an M203. I'm not done yet and still have alot more work to do, however here it is.

:salute: very nice

Hmm...you'll need to buy an A3 reciever to pull off the C7 rail. Mounting an Elcan on the handle just doesn't do it.
Although, back in the day, before the rail, there were Elcan's that mounted around the handle. Otherwise looking good  |
Ya, get a flat top reciever so that you dont have to mount it on the rail. It looks silly mounted on the rail.
|
you'l need:
Flat top Elcan Triad custom cut A2 forgrips with a spacer, to replicte the el-crapo mounting system of the Diemaco '203 i'll PM you with more details |
Actually, for a C7 i do not believe you nee a triad mount as you can see here: http://www.sfu.ca/casr/101sm-rifles.htm
