KWA KMP9 comments?

Hi Guys I just saw this item arriving in Canada in some of the retailers store recently.

Was wondering if anyone know how good this gun is? I might be considering getting one once things pick up again financially for me.

I saw some online reviews, but they are just your standard very shallow retailer reviews was wondering if anyone has one?

Thanks again. ;)

I have the KSC predecessor, and I have to say that this is the most satisfying non-rifle GBB out there. The noise, the satisfying thunk of the bolt, and the performance are all fantastic. I can't speak for the KWA, but the real trades on the KSC are awesome. Like all GBBs, stock up on your rubber parts though, I had a hell of a time sourcing a new nozzle (too much storage, not enough shooting made it dry out and crack :P). And yes the KSC can take propane. Personally, I'd like to see someone scan the parts manual of the KWA to see if they match up 100%, that way I'd have easy to source innards and full trades :D

KSC = KWA
so
KSC MP9 = KWA MP9

Except for maybe what the nozzle or bolt or whatever else is contructed of (stronger in Taiwan or KWA models for propane vs HFC134 in KSC models)

The "Predecessor" is the TMP.

The MP9 is the System7/NS2 improved version.

I'm planning on getting one soon :)

I messed around with one at Imperial Airsoft, put a big smile on my face. I recommend it for sure.

Abqsolutely love mine....so much so that I bought a second. Dual weild....mihahaha. I bought spare mags from asgi . There are some issues with it apparently, check the kwa forums. Something to do with the bolt catch shaving of metal from the bolt. I didn't read much into it yet as it just posted up last week.

I just got my KWA a few weeks ago, but haven't gamed it yet... just sat around caressing it...

Fired a couple mags, and almost experienced an erection...

Could anyone please scan their KWA manuals and send them to me? I'm not asking for a public version in violation of any copyright laws, bla bla bla, but I'd really like to see if there are any differences in parts and disassembly, and it pays to have a manual you can read :P I'd be willing to scan my Japanese KSC manual for trade.

There's a comparison of the KWA MP9 and the old KSC TMP (not the MP9) at Airsoft Retreat:

Sorry to bring this topic up again...

For those of you who have one - or to anyone who might know :

What if the gun breaks down? Is it pretty easy to fix? As in ordering replacement parts etc?...

I am considering using it as a primary, hence why I want to ask...

Also - anyone know any place that sells the long mags for this gun? I asked a bit but its hard to find.

hahah... its actually funny you ask... I was going to do a review about everything your asking on my youtube series in a few weeks (other guns to review first)

BUT, ill give you a little preview.... DONT BUY IT! plain and simple.... waaaay to many issues with it. Just check the KWA forums and that will answer you questions...

However, their customer service is excellent. I had to order a new cylender from them for this gun and they were extremely helpful.

I dont want to give all the review topics away.. i want to save something for the video review... just subscribe to my channel... wait a few weeks and make up your own opinion. But please i urge you to reconsider this as your primary. lol or.... you can buy mine :)

I've read through the kwa forums and i'm not suffering any of the problems stone of the guys are listing. The bolt grinding issue has only happened with a small percentage of their mp9. I've only gone through about 3K rounds, so really long term reliability and durability is still up in the the air. The problem some of the guys on the forum had problems showing before they've reached 500 rounds.

well i really wanted to wait until my video review but here... i did a test of 3 mags.... you wouldnt beleive that ammount of scraping on the bolt only after 3 mags... its remarkable!... not to mention that after the 3 mag test, (in which durring the test there was significant feeding problems) major failure! If you can believe it the cylender shattered! Im still in awe over this event. Never really imagined that this could actually happen.

But like i said before, KWA's customer service is excellent. In order to make and order to canada you must contact them by phone as apparently their website doesnt allow for Canadian orders.
