HFC M190 Mag Catch
 

My son took the gun apart, now seems like it's not going back right. All I see is the catch itself and the 2-legged spring, one end with a hook bend. If I just place the spring back where it looks like it should go (straight leg in groove on catch and "hook" resting in frame cutout forward, there seems to be little tension and hardly anything holding the catch to the frame. Pulls right out. Does the spring need to be wound once or so and then simple friction holds the catch to the frame? Seems like a weird design with nothing holding the catch on.
