i want to know if i can buy a balisong training knife and have it shipped to canada, will it get confiscated?

Play with it to show off?

Uh?

Edit:

You can get rubber training knives WITHIN canada easily. Just look about online. There is a canadian retailer located in Quebec that sells them. I'll see if I can find the link

If you are in Edmonton go to Rising Sun (I think thats its name) one block off Stony Plain Rd and 160St. They sell all kinds of 5.11 gear, MMA stuff and training weapons. I once bought a steel training balsiong to play around with for like 20$ from them

You let your GF play your xbox? :O. No girl touches my XBOX.

Arent Balisongs illegal?

I know this is a training knife, but still. Hmm.

ts10z August 27th, 2010 01:11

If it dont have an actual edge, and no way to put on one it can be ANY knid of knife, balisongs, gravity knives, switchblades, push daggers, whatever, because it isnt a real knife. Kinda how we can own(but not import) an airsoft version of an anti tank rocket or belt fed machine gun as long as it ISNT an actual weapon. Training weapons fall into that category, and it isnt just knives. You can have training nunchucks, sais, etc all legal as long as its only a trainer.

Good thing you are going to use a "training" balisong knife, cause I doubt you would want to use a real one and risk the chance of cutting off your trigger finger.

I've seen experts use them on youtube, and I've actually bought a real one years and years ago at a store here in town called the MET plaza. Couln't believe I let it go. Don't know what I ever did with it.

You could find them on ebay all over the place ....... the fake ones that is. Can't own nor ship a real one into Canada or the States.

PM me and I could probably help you out.

Just buy some of the Cold-Steel Training knives. They are very good quality, especially for the price.

I think you miss the point he wanted a balisong knife which is in other words Butterfly knives. Cold steel are nice training knife but I think he wants to do tricks with his knife without cutting his fingers. hehe ^^

Ugh, He does not need the Bali.

Not saying that Balisong tricks are not some of the most Bad ass things ever, It just has more practicality to buy a stable non folding training knife. For airsoft... a Balisong is not the best choice.
