Scom gear m82a1

Once i get age verified is there any canadian companys that can get this sniper?

Strelok August 4th, 2010 15:11

Yup, provided the importers are still about then. The thing is heavy and clutzy, I'd rather go with a platform that is readily upgradable than some big hulking thing like that.

Tex August 4th, 2010 15:11

slavery is illegal so you won't find anyone selling a sniper around here.

but once AV'd there is nearly nothing airsoft that you can not get all it takes is time and money and most of them time you need lots of both.

HeadlessChicken August 4th, 2010 15:19

You'll have to contact a retailer upon being verified or post a WTB (Willing to Buy) thread.

kullwarrior August 4th, 2010 22:13

Be expected to pay lots
As shipping of such large and heavy item three times wont be cheap.
HK -> Importer
Importer -> Retailer
Retailer -> You

Aha!
.

.
Op probably doesn't get that

sharpshooter17 August 5th, 2010 13:18

lol well im kinda expecting to pay a pretty penny for it if i can even get one in

TaroBear August 5th, 2010 13:29

Yeah, but even newcomers who expect big prices usually aren't prepared for exactly how much. Go onto a HK retailer website, multiply that by three, and then add some money on for shipping and/or fees for Payment. And there you have it.

Seriously reconsider getting it...it's retardedly big, extremely heavy and generally impractical.

Upsides are it's very simple to work on and very rugged.

But it's stupid big/heavy

There's at least two inherent issues out of the box with it (at least with the one I saw) that needs to be corrected. Neither are hard to do but still....

DanoftheDead August 5th, 2010 13:36

you know what? If you really want it go for it! Just cause its big clunky and combersome shouldn't stop you. I'm a fan of getting what you want to shoot. Who cares what others personal opinions are? If you like it, want it and can afford it then get it.

m102404 August 5th, 2010 13:40

Just for reference to put the size in perspective....(and no one could shoulder it for more than a couple of seconds....I could barely hold just the barrel out with my arm extended for very long before I got the shakes)...I think the top of the workbench is ~36" off the floor.

The ugly f*cker in the pic isn't me...but he brings doughnuts every time he visits.

I'm Da man, this thing is almost as tall as me and twice as heavy, only dumb asses will try to shoulder this phuckers

R.I.T.Z August 5th, 2010 13:41

usual price is 1500$ US X 3 = 4500$ + shipping (its big and clunky and heavy) so lets say 200$
your looking at what? 5000$ roughly give or take

Love August 5th, 2010 13:56

I once saw a paintball one of these for like $1000. I laughed because some 14 year old kid was returning it. Why? Because it fired too slow. ORLY?!

It'd probably be cheaper for you to gain friends with a metal worker. Then they could machine you the parts, and then you just buy a good sniper gearbox.

sharpshooter17 August 5th, 2010 13:56

price in the usa is about 850 but its still going to cost a crap load no matter what

you're looking at closer to 2-3 grand at most.... I doubt it will be more.
