paypal question

How can i send someone money with paypal when my balance is 0$, but i have a credit card hooked up to it?
it it possible or do i need to have money in the paypal balance?

northcop July 29th, 2010 17:33

if you have your credit card set up hooked into paypal and want to send money to an email you only need to have a balance on the card. That's how I've always done it. Never bothered to actually "load" money into paypal.

exelent i looked up paypal info and found it. they say you have an option of doing so. thanks man

No prob but also you have to pay an additional 3%-4% doing this through paypal, so I would reccomend doing an EMT through your bank if they have that feature. I bank with a local credit union so I'm SOL.

"Gift" money can bypass the 4%.

But PP gifts are not refundable. ie. You buy something and pay seller via "PP gift" if they scam you, you cannot request a charge back.

Just start clicking buttons!!!! I couldn't find EMTs on my online banking so I clicked every button till I did. You'll find out crap after a while

In order to gift, you have to have that amount in your PayPal account.

I just purchased $500 worth of goods using paypal, didn't pay any extra paypal fees atleast right now or ones I could see. I'm a bit confused but W/E

BTW it gets charged to you credit card so you can let it sit on there till you get your paycheck or what not.

as well as the CC, if your pay pal is hooked up to your bank account you do not need to have a balance in the account because they just take it straight from the attached bank account

I think theres only the extra 4% if you use it to send money to an email or mobile phone (ie someone on the classifieds). If you buy from most websites there is no additional fee.

when you buy something the merchant gets charged it's their cost of doing business.
