Mach1airsoft sells full metal guns?
After not touching anything airsoft related for about a year, i decided to check mach1airsoft. They are currently advertising full metal ICS, Classic ARmy and Vegaforce guns. I know the website use to sell Metal G&G and ICS with a plastic reciever, however, there is no indication the advertised guns have one. I know full metal guns are illegal in Canada so i am really surprised.
Can anyone clarify this? |
Much has changed in the past year but what you see is correct.
I won't get into details on everything but those full metal guns you see are perfectly legal. |

Full metal guns aren't necessarily illegal in Canada, they are just illegal for individuals to import without a Business Firearms License, which Mach1 obviously has.
edit: they upgrade the guns to above 407 fps and import them like real steel firearms. You still need a BFL for that though. |

In short get AV'ed and you'll see. PS: In the end it may or may not be worth it to bring in a single gun due to scale economies. ie. the difference between buying 1 bar of soap vs a 20 pack from costco (except that 1 bar might cost the same as 5 bars in the end due to possible testing and such that may be requested (at your own expense and also not guaranteed to be released that fast either, could take a week could take a year or more to get to testing and getting it released)). |
Well I spoke to Brian on the 16th and I'm waiting for that shiny white box to appear below my name. I hope the next batch is processed soon.

The details on how it all came to be are in the AV discussion area. Long story short is that mach1's stock is legitimate.
