Madbull Hop-up in Scar?

I have a VFC Scar L. Will a Madbull hop-up unit work in this gun?
I know that the Scar takes many m4 internal parts, but has anybody tried out this unit in the Scar?

The VFC SCAR-L hopup is a proprietary hopup unfortunately. I have been looking for a spare hopup myslf and the only one I can find is $35 USD at EVIKE. If anyone knows where to get one here in Canada, please post or PM me.
