Family Portrait 2009

It's the end of the year so I figure I round up all my goodies and bring them together for one large photo.

sarosh December 28th, 2009 17:24

My god how i envy thee. i may have to kidnap your children :@

Mr Jon December 28th, 2009 17:24

This particular picture was taken with a full frame 5D MKII, 580 EXII, and the 24-105 F4/L lens

FOX_111 December 28th, 2009 17:28

Nice picture. Where you perched on a ladder?
I always have trouble taking good pictures of stuff on a floor or table.

And I digg your L96. Too bad they don't make spring one that beautiful.

hotrodthug December 28th, 2009 17:29

Hey theres my old WA! shes looking good, hope its treating you well!

hattrick December 28th, 2009 17:33

What brand are all those m11's?

Acid_Snake December 28th, 2009 17:34

Says KWA in his sig

RacingManiac December 28th, 2009 17:36

Dude, all the guns AND a nice camera....you're a champ:)

CDN_Stalker December 28th, 2009 17:38

Very nice spread Jon! Picture, arrangement AND your collection.

Mr Jon December 28th, 2009 17:40

I spent an hour collecting all the bits and setting it all up, and having to scrounge around for a ladder to step up onto lol. I put way to much effort into my photos most of the time. But I figure its the only way to really share my collection :)

Oh there is an other way to share your collection. I'll PM you my shipping adresse.

Hahaha
Your efforts shows. A well lite, well framed pictures is pleasing to the eye, especially when the subject catch interest!

Shirley December 28th, 2009 18:01

Where's the pot of gold?

HeadlessChicken December 28th, 2009 18:11

You know, some people call me nuts for having more then 4 guns (3 AEGs, 1 GBB SMG, 3 GBB pistols). I'm saving this picture and passing it out to those individuals.

I'm liking that gold 1911...so gangster with bling.

PaCHeKo! December 28th, 2009 18:18

Would you mind if I masturbate when watching your collection?!

I don't consider myself as having much of a collection, yet your post makes me think I have quite a bit.

Sniper rifles: CA M24, KJW M700

AEG: TM MP5A5, TM MP5SD

GBB: KSC Mk23 (x2), G19 (x2), M11A1; Omega 93R

NBB: Crosman C11 (great choice for dusty/sandy games)

Springer: Crosman S34P and Stinger shotguns, P99 pistol, TM Mk23

Then again, I only collect that which will be useful for me, be grabbing a second shotgun in the new year, love a MP7 at some point, but I'm fine without.

aznpos531 December 28th, 2009 19:36

What scope you got there on the STAR/ARES L96? I want that gun! If not for the monopod, folding stock and properly-placed mag well, then for the scope and mount!

Mr Jon December 28th, 2009 19:52

That's just a generic china made leupold replica illuminated scope. You can find them just about anywhere under different brand names. The ARES came with a non-illuminated version which I installed on my SPR MK12 MOD 0 at the top of the picture. I also screwd on king arms sunshades and attached butler creek flip covers.

Ya lets see I have

AEG:
CA M15A4 Pro- primary aeg, primary backup, possible project down the road
CA90 RDS Sport- more for a Stargate themed loadout, good for tinkering around though might sell
CA36 Pro- my first aeg, currently a project thinking of making a sniper rifle

GBB:
KWA MP7- primary
TM Glock17 3rd gen- secondary, slight modified and may go metal on it
TM 5.1 hi capa- secondary backup, metal, possible racing gun project
WA Prokiller- wall hanger

I'm told I have a lot...meh, maybe but compared to many others here I'm relatively tame.

Deaf_shooter December 28th, 2009 20:05

lot of gun is all I can said

As long as they all get used (like mine do, mission specific I guess you could say, or loaners).

All but the wall hanger; 2 are being tinkered with, 2 is back up but sometimes used or loaners, 2 always being used.

Twin#1[Op-for] December 28th, 2009 20:55

OMG I want that TMP.

hattrick December 28th, 2009 22:01

Me thinks its a "sp9" or somthing not a TMP

*edit its a mp9

-alex

Acid_Snake December 28th, 2009 22:16

yeah that's the same exact thing

Don't quote me at all on this but if I even remotely remember correctly Steyr sold the TMP to B&T and they renamed it the MP9 ... or maybe the other way around ... OR maybe I have no idea what I am talking bout...

Steyr sold the TMP design to B&T, and then they reworked the hell out of it. The only thing they really have in common is the shape of the main part of the gun. Stock is different, muzzle is different, etc.

Twin#1[Op-for] December 28th, 2009 22:24

Still drop dead sexy.

Twin#1[Op-for] December 31st, 2009 03:36

But his aren't nearly as nice! OR expensive

Forever_kaos December 31st, 2009 03:47

I think if we want to talk about massive collections everyone needs to remember or veiw for their first time..

Anyways back to topic.
Very nice collection, mind I ask why 3 M11s?
How long did it take you to get this bad? hahaha.

Oh dear...I think I've developed a scope fetish along with my rifle fetish...this does not bode well for my wallet!

Mr Jon December 31st, 2009 17:02

I've spent about 4 years putting this collection together and will hopefully add several more to the pile. As for the 3 M11s.. i've never bought an M11 that worked correctly so I wound up buying 3 non-working M11s over the years to bodge them together from my pile of a 4th to get them to an operational state.

which brand are the M11s?

Mr Jon December 31st, 2009 18:07

They are all KWA, and they work lovely now after having been rebuilt. 2 have metal bolts and are nice and snappy :)

DeEmEn November 21st, 2010 17:04

all I can say... is wow....

T-Hell May 15th, 2011 11:25

Mr. Jon....

you need bull-pups in your collection :D

koonz May 15th, 2011 21:17

who needs that many guns?? lol. still awesome tho.

Mr Jon May 16th, 2011 20:42

Sadly I thought there was no such thing as enough either... but then realized even I wasn't invincible to bill payments. Now I've only got about 10 guns left in my collection after a massive sell off I've been going through over the last 2 years.
